It beginns in Syria
My journey began in Syria in my hometown Masyaf, where I spent my teenage afternoons exploring computers with a friend—a hobby that ran parallel to my formal training at a Hotel Management School. By day, I studied hospitality and baking; by evening, I tinkered with computer Programs and tech support. For me, these weren’t separate paths—they were two sides of the same coin: curiosity.
After graduating as a certified hotel manager and chef in 2011, I carried both passions into my work, balancing kitchen shifts with freelance tech troubleshooting. When I moved to Berlin via Turkey, I continued crafting dishes and cakes by day and code by night—until 2020, when the pandemic paused the world. That quiet moment became my turning point: I decided to transform my lifelong tech hobby into a profession, diving headfirst into software and web development.
Today, I code by morning, and keep my ancestors heritage alive by cooking by afternoon and telling their stories by evening.
